Jude and I had a little discovery mission on the roof of our building. There's a little patio area by the pool which overlooks the east side of the city, but the good view is blocked by another building. There was an open door in the fence that lead to a private penthouse patio on the opposite side, where we managed to snap off this long exposure of the city from behind.
Nice blog, Geo :). And nice photo too!
Considering your love of TO and your love of photography, you should check out Daily Dose of Imagery at http://wvs.topleftpixel.com/. Sam daily posts photos that he takes in and around Toronto mostly, but some photos are from his travels. He seems to hang around my work neighborhood a bit, so it's a kick to see photos of scenery that I see daily :). While I like his downtown shots, I especially like the series of shots he did at an abandoned psych hospital in Whitby and the Don Valley Brickworks :).
Anyhow :).
Thanks for the link Tawny! I've actually been to that site before, but now I added it to my rss feed. :) I knew someone who works at that psych hospital in Whitby (obviously not in the abandoned part). The stories that come out of that place are priceless. I like visiting the brickworks too, especially now with the weather getting better. Life is sweet.
